We were so thrilled with this Halloween Haunted House our pi-top Project Designer created that we built a whole competition around it!
We realized this activity is perfect for group work so we decided to challenge schools to deliver a uniquely innovative Halloween project using any computer science technology they may have!

To kick things off you could even get your class warmed up with this challenge: your students can work together to build, decorate, and program their very own haunted house, complete with lights, motion sensors, color recognition, and spooky sounds.
The best part about this project is the freedom to get creative! Students can add themes and really customize it to make it their own. As you go through the course on Further, much of what you will see can be modified to fit structures made from other things.
In our example, we used the pi-top Robotics Kit and Electronics Kit to form the spooky house and while we've put a flying witch in our project, your students can replace that with a bat, a ghost, Harry Potter, or anything else they can think up!
Additionally, this project is great to get art enthusiasts excited! Just look at the incredible paint work our designer incorporated to give this house a hauntingly impressive edge:

Once you're done with that, make sure you submit your project to our Halloween Project Contest for the chance to win your very own Robotics & Electronics Superset!
